The Deadly Groom -part 8-Meyako waited a few minutes, then slumped on the bench near the door. She wasn't sure what she should do now, and she had lost her mother again. After just sitting for a few minutes, she took a deep breath, and walked back into the hospital. When she walked back into James's room, he smiled, then noticed her expression. "What's wrong?" he murmured, walking over and hugging her. "My mother finally passed on…I'm just sad I won't have her…"she replied softly. James sighed softly, and looked into her eyes. "I'm sorry." He muttered. "I knew she would sooner or later…but I'll still miss her." She said softly. James nodded,The Deadly Groom -part 8-

The Deadly Groom -part 7-Meyako gasped. "What? How did he find us?" she hissed. "The maid told him. He bribed her." Her mother replied bitterly. Meyako sighed. "Who's Edwin?" James asked. "Long story short, he killed my mom, then my dad arranged for me to marry him…" she replied softly. "You're Princess Meyako, aren't you?" he asked suddenly. Her head snapped up. "I knew it…"he muttered. "You ran away to prevent the marriage, huh?" he asked. She could only nod mutely. "In a way I'm glad you ran away…I got to meet you…but he had no right to cause you this much pain." He said his voice hard and furious. Meyako sighed. The Deadly Groom -part 6-After a few more days of hiding in the woods, she was almost broke and in a larger town, one that had never heard of a princess, or a murdered queen. She liked that, and decided to stay. She got a job at a clothing store, and the owner let her stay in an apartment above the store for work, so she didn't have to worry about having a place to stay. She saw a girl who looked to be nice in the store almost everyday, though she only knew her as Yasu. She didn't know that she was the same age, or that she thought Meyako would make a good friend.The Deadly Groom -part 6-
After a few awkward conversations, they finally became friends; though Meyako told Yasu her name
